Last Alliance - Solitude

Defying the head wind that shakes the earth
I look up at the starry sky triumphantly

I hate this foolish, disgraceful behaviour
Always shooting me those looks
With nowhere to pour my heart out honestly, I hide my sadness

If maybe the sky were to clear up tomorrow, I’d ride on that train
I can’t help but want to go someplace where there’s no one else…

I wake up in the middle of the night
Delusions, truths and legends come down to me
Incapable of handling the weight of this sensory overload, I thrust a knife into my autonomic nerves

I encountered you drowning in a desert of tears in my dream
However, something like that is just a self-important sentiment after all
Rather than shining jewels, give me the stars that shine in the sky
Give me a small kindness reflected in the light filtering through the trees

Tomorrow is partly cloudy, I intend to ride that train
To a place that’s on no map… Defenselessly exposed, so as to warm my naked heart

The wish I continued to shout disappeared in the wind and never reached
However, my passion shouldn’t disappear quite so easily
Rather than shining jewels, give me the stars that shine in the sky
Give me a small kindness reflected in the light filtering through the trees
My warmed up heart will surely let me find you
